The Royal Park Murders

The Royal Park Murders, the latest novel in my crime series featuring Detective Inspector Isobel Woods.

Synopsis:-

The Royal Parks of London are safe green spaces enjoyed by many thousands of people, but when the body of a young woman is discovered in Hyde Park, the harmonious balance between nature and recreation is disturbed.

Newly promoted Detective Inspector Isobel Woods is tasked with leading the investigation, then elements of a previous case threaten her wellbeing forcing her to prove to a new boss that she is fit to lead her team.

Things rarely go to plan and the situation escalates when the killer strikes again.  Unexpectedly, a web of abuse, fraud and deceit is exposed and as they investigate further Woods and her colleagues’ lives are endangered.

With resources stretched to the limit, the team must keep themselves and the public safe.

What other surprises will be uncovered before the investigation reaches a satisfactory conclusion?

Testimonials:-

I’ve read most of Kevin’s books and have enjoyed them all, I like the way he re introduces past characters in a new novel.
The Royal park murders lived up to my expectations.

I read a lot of crime thrillers and police procedurals and this one ticked all the boxes with lots of different threads which keep the reader guessing but neatly come together at the end. The characters and locations were well drawn and interesting making for an all round good read.

Really enjoyed this book. Hard to put down. Loved the twists and turns. Enjoyed the fact that many local areas played a part in the story. I particularly enjoyed seeing an honest account of some misogynistic points of view.
Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this classic murder mystery. A lovely addition to this author's bookshelf, with interesting characters and an entertaining storyline, which delves into some police procedural, as well as domestic drama. Highly recommend!
